Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in TV. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued a physical therapy career in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas then moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles including local independent films and global commercials. Despite the small parts she soon discovered her love for acting. Then she moved in New York in 2001 and landed her very first acting job as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. She had minor roles on JAG the Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004 she landed her first major series role on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. The character she's most well-known for is the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. Later, she starred in The Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel.
